The fact that the Dow is at over 13,500 but unemployment remains above 8% is proof of a massive crime against this nation by the 1%. It may be “legal” crime, but it’s a crime nonetheless. American corporations are doing just fine, amassing record profits. The American people are not, enduring continuing economic pain. That alone should destroy the entire conservative and neoliberal economic program. It has no functional basis for continuing to exist except to benefit the very richest among us.
